ANCLA Lilypond Members Meet to Revamp Chapter
The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Lilypond Chapter, has officially embarked on a new era of revitalization with the unveiling of its revamped leadership structure.
At a historic gathering on Tuesday, September 2, 2026, attended by elders, past chairmen, former executives, distinguished members, and the press, the newly appointed Chairman, Hon. Prince Olu Adefioye, declared the chapter’s commitment to progress and sustainable development.
In his keynote address, Prince Adefioye acknowledged the guidance of his mentor, Prince Taye Oyeniyi, whose counsel laid the foundation for the restructuring journey that began four years ago. He emphasized that the rebuilding of ANLCA Lilypond is not the responsibility of the executives alone but a collective mandate requiring the wisdom, advice, and constructive criticism of all members.
Biblical references underscored the tone of the event, with the Chairman quoting Mark 9:23 — “With God all things are possible” — and Proverbs 27:17 — “Iron sharpens iron” — to inspire unity and resilience. He further charged members not to remain spectators but to actively contribute to the chapter’s growth, citing Nehemiah 2:20: “The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build.”
The event featured the unveiling of the new Executive Council, the immediate constitution of committees, and plans for a befitting chapter secretariat. Members from other chapters were also present, symbolizing solidarity across the association.
Prince Adefioye concluded with a call to service, urging members with a heart to serve to step forward and join hands in the rebuilding process.
