DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy for Anchor Press NG

3. DMCA Takedown Process

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, Anchor Press NG will:

  • Review the notice and, if it complies with the requirements of the DMCA, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the user who posted the material that it has been removed or disabled due to a copyright infringement claim.
  • Reserve the right to seek additional information from the complainant before taking action.

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  2. Identification of Removed Material:
    Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and its location on the website prior to removal.

  3. Statement of Good Faith:
    A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  4. Contact Information:
    Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. Consent to Jurisdiction:
    A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you are outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Anchor Press NG may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the party that submitted the original DMCA notification or an agent of such party.

Once a valid counter-notification is received, Anchor Press NG may restore the removed content, unless the original complainant files a lawsuit seeking a court order against the restoration of the material.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Anchor Press NG follows the DMCA guidelines regarding repeat infringers. If we become aware of repeated instances of infringement, we may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Please note that any person who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees).
