Maritime Workers Union mourns late Emir of Koko.

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), under the leadership of Dr. (Prince) Adewale Adeyanju, (fnli, HFCPSP), commiserates with the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Prince Mohammed Bello Koko, over the death of his father, Alhaji Muhammad Koko, the Emir of Koko in Kebbi state.
In a statement on Thursday,by the Head of Media of the Union,comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna,the statement reads”We as a Union in the maritime sector, are deeply pained over this sad occurrence and fervently pray that the Almighty Allah in his Infinite mercy grants him eternal rest.
” And to the family he left behind, we pray that Almighty Allah gives them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“The entire executives of the Union recognise the brilliant and dynamic leadership roles of the Emir in the development of Koko while alive; hence, the royalty of Kebbi traditional council and the entirety of Koko people will equally miss the virtues of the late Emir” the statement noted.
The Union prayed that the late Emir’s soul, Muhammad Koko finds rest in the bossom of the Almighty Allah.
