Lagos Royal Father Advocates for Dialogue Over Confrontation Amidst Planned Protest

Lagos Royal Father Advocates for Dialogue Over Confrontation Amidst Planned Protest

Oba Fatai Ojora, the traditional Ruler of Ijora in Lagos State (Oroja of Ijora), has urged for dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflicts, rather than confrontation, ahead of the planned nationwide protest against economic hardship.

The royal father advised youths to explore dialogue with the government before resorting to protest, emphasizing the importance of a peaceful approach.

Oba Ojora appealed to the protesters to give President Bola Tinubu's administration time to address economic challenges, noting that the government is still in its early stages.

He also encouraged the Federal Government to engage in dialogue with the youth to resolve misunderstandings and prevent violence.

The royal father's plea comes from personal experience, having witnessed the devastating effects of the #EndSARS protest in his kingdom.

He seeks to prevent a repeat of such incidents, promoting peaceful resolution and dialogue as the best approach.
