Thanksgiving is the only way to activate God's Mercy, according to the CAC, Western Marine Command, Comptroller Oduadu Salefu.
Salefu made this statement on Friday during the Nigeria Customs Christian Fellowship, Western Marine Command Chapter's, End-of-Year Thanksgiving Service.
The Controller said that the advantages of giving thanks include God's mercies and favor, basing his sermon on the passage "Beware when you are Full" from Deuteronomy 6:12. He went on to say that when Christians feel fulfilled they should never forget their Creator.
The event's Coordinator, Superintendent of Customs, M. A. Magaji, stated that the Lord took charge despite the year's many uncertainties in the areas of politics, economy, and security.
As they came together to count their blessings, SC Magaji stated they had much to be grateful for while noting specific events that changed the political, security, economic, and social landscape of the nation and the world at large.
Officers from the Command, the Guest Minister, Pastor Prince Onya, and other invited guests were present during the ceremony.
Praise and worship, the Thanksgiving dance, the gift presentation, and prayers for the country, the Nigeria Customs Service, and the Western Marine Command are some of the ceremony's highlights.
