Nigeria’s premier multipurpose conference, PITCH, is set to host its much-anticipated second edition this August, continuing its tradition of connecting talents with opportunities in business, career development, arts, and technology.
Organised by SpirePoint Consulting, the parent company of Jobsandmoreng.com, this year’s event is themed “2025 Pitch Mega Careerfest” and will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at RCCG Tabernacle of Faith, located along Pipeline Road in the Alagbole-Akute axis of Ogun State.
PITCH 2025 promises to be an immersive, high-impact event focused on employability, entrepreneurship, and business development. It is a bold response to the growing need to bridge the gap between qualified talent and employment opportunities, while also supporting business owners and creatives seeking visibility and growth.
The event will feature engaging career talks led by seasoned industry experts, interactive sessions that include live résumé reviews and on-the-spot interviews, and practical career and business counselling designed to prepare attendees for real-world success.
A central feature of this year’s edition is the pitching segment, where individuals, startups, and brands will present their ideas or ventures to a live audience and a panel of experts. This presents a powerful opportunity for visibility, feedback, potential partnerships, and even funding.
The event is structured to foster meaningful connections between jobseekers and potential employers, while also serving as a platform for businesses to identify top-tier candidates for roles ranging from internships to full-time employment.
In collaboration with Verionx.com, a leading job and learning platform, and RCCG Tabernacle of Faith, the 2025 edition is expected to attract over 500 physical and virtual participants. These include professionals actively seeking employment, young entrepreneurs, creatives, and corporate recruiters. It is also a valuable platform for networking, mentorship, and strategic collaborations.
The event will be live-streamed to a broader online audience via Verionx’s LinkedIn page and the official Instagram handle @Pitch_Careerfest, ensuring access for those who cannot attend in person.
As in previous editions, it will also feature discussions on entrepreneurship and innovation, offering insights into building sustainable ventures in Nigeria’s evolving business landscape.
In addition to connecting talents with opportunities, PITCH 2025 is offering organisations the chance to gain direct access to a rich talent pool. Participating companies can recruit for existing vacancies or future opportunities and also explore sponsorship, advert placements, or strategic partnerships to increase their brand visibility among Nigeria’s next generation of professionals.
With respected figures such as Boluwatife Awofadeju, CEO of SpirePoint Consulting and convener of PITCH, Elijah Moses of Verionx, and other key business and HR leaders set to speak at the event, attendees can expect expert insights, real-time guidance, and transformative career support.
Registration is ongoing via bit.ly/pitchcareerfest. For inquiries, pitching slots, advert placements, or sponsorship discussions, interested parties are encouraged to contact SpirePoint Consulting via 0813 232 7213 or email jobsandmoreng@gmail.com.
As August approaches, all eyes are on Ogun State for what is poised to be one of the most impactful career and business development events in Nigeria this year.
