TF Women Delegate Conference Elects New Executives for 2025-2029 Term
The 7th International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) Women Delegate Conference, held in December 2024, has elected a new team of executives to lead the organization for the next four years.
The elected executives are:
1. Comrade Funmi Fasan (MWUN) - Chairperson
2. Sister Omolabake Adelakun (ROAD) - Vice Chairperson
3. Sister Safiya Araya (NUATE) - Vice Chairperson
4. Sister Amos Chidiebele (M/Navy) - Secretary
5. Sister Rukayat Shuaibu (ATSSAN) - Assistant Secretary
6. Sister Ayegba Sarah (RAIL) - Treasurer
7. Sister Ogochukwu Ibegbunam (ANAP) - Financial Secretary
Other elected executives include:
1. Comrade Sister Modupe Odunmuyiwa (ROAD) - Auditor
2. Sister Onyeka Anthonia (RAIL) - Welfare Officer
3. Sister Okezie Dickson Ijeoma (M/Navy) - 1st Trustee
4. Sister Uguru Fidelia Uwaoma (NUATE) - 2nd Trustee
5. Sister Oloyede Olaide (ATSSAN) - 1st Public Relations Officer
6. Sister Popoola Temitope (MWUN) - 2nd Public Relations Officer
7. Comrade Sister Igbokwe Ngozi Tochi - Ex-Officio
The new executives are expected to serve for the next four years, as stipulated in the ITF constitution.
