The Maritime Workers' Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has reiterated its dedication to working closely with the Ministry of Labour and Employment to promote labour activities and workers' welfare in the country. This commitment was made clear during a courtesy visit by Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, President General of MWUN, to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, in Abuja on Thursday.
Adeyanju, who is also a Deputy President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), was accompanied by top executives of the union, including Deputy President General Francis Bunu, Treasurer Uche Bunu, and President of the Seamen and Water Transport Workers Branch Sunday Avoseh, among others.
