Nigeria Police Confirms Arrest of Ex-Police Officers Involved in Fuel Truck Hijacking
The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the arrest of former police officers involved in the hijacking of a fuel truck in Enugu State.

 The suspects, who were dismissed from the force, were apprehended after a thorough operation that led to the rescue of the abducted driver and motor boy.

The police recovered significant exhibits, including two AK-47 rifles, 105 rounds of ammunition, and various security uniforms. The suspects have confessed to their crimes and are currently under investigation by the Enugu State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has reiterated the force's commitment to collaborating with stakeholders to combat crime. He warned individuals engaging in criminal activities that the law will catch up with them, and justice will be served.

The police have urged the public to support their efforts in maintaining safety and security across the country. 

The suspects will soon appear in court for prosecution, serving as a deterrent to others. This operation demonstrates the police force's dedication to eradicating criminal elements, regardless of their previous affiliations.
