NAGAFF President Applauds Dantsoho's Appointment as NPA MD, Highlights Key Areas for Reform and Growth
The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) President, High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, has commended the appointment of Abubakar Dantsoho as the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
In a recent interview with journalists, Ezisi praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's decision, citing Dantsoho's extensive career experience, professional expertise, and administrative prowess.
Ezisi expressed confidence that Dantsoho will leverage his experience to revitalize, reposition, and reengineer NPA operations, driving modern, seamless port management and economic growth. He identified key areas for focus, including:
- Enhancing adequate security measures
- Repairing and maintaining port quays
- Improving staff welfare
- Revisiting the port concession agreement
- Ensuring continuous repair of port access roads for free traffic flow
