Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Inaugurates Olu of Ilaro as Chairman of Council of Obas, Warns Traditional Rulers Against Illegal Land Sales and Partisan Politics
In a bid to promote peace, unity, and development in Ogun State, Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has charged traditional rulers to shun unauthorized sales of government land and desist from allocating land for illegal mining. 

He also warned them against involvement in partisan politics, emphasizing their role in supporting the government's developmental stride. 

The governor inaugurated Olu of Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, as the new chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas, urging him to use his intellectual prowess to unite and promote the state's traditional institution.

 The governor appreciated the traditional rulers' support and promised to empower them through provision of resources, infrastructure, and platforms for effective delivery of their duties. 

He described the traditional institution as an important arm of government, crucial for enthroning good governance in the state."
