Compt. Olomu Collaborates With NDLEA in Walk Against Drug Abuse
The Area Controller, Apapa command of Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu, in his quest to take collaboration with sister agencies a notch higher, participated in the Walk Against Drugs in Commemoration of 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.
The CAC joined the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command, and other government agencies in the port to bring awareness on the dangers inherent in drug abuse.
A press statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the command, CSC Abubakar Usman, stated that the Customs Area Controller noted that such collaboration between sister agencies of government is crucial for intelligence sharing and ensuring public safety.
He further stressed that by working together, security agencies can achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone.
