Apapa Customs Command Strengthens Inter-Agency Collaboration: Compt. Olomu Pays Familiarization Visit to Port Police Commissioner
In a bid to foster a stronger working relationship and build on existing inter-agency collaboration, the new Area Controller of Apapa Customs Command, Compt. Babatunde Olomu, has paid a familiarization visit to the Commissioner of Police, Ports Authority Police (Western) Command Lagos, CP Olarewaju Olarenwaju Ishola.
During the visit, Olomu underscored the crucial role of the Nigeria Police Force in ensuring security, tranquility, and stability, which are essential for the Nigeria Customs Service to fulfill its mandate of revenue generation for the Federal Government. He expressed gratitude for the ongoing support provided by the Ports Authority Police (Western) Command and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong interagency collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Customs Service.
The controller also highlighted the significance of fostering good relationships with stakeholders to create a secure and enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
