Comptroller Bamisaiye Assumes Leadership At Western Marine Command

By Kathy Kyari

The Western Marine Command of the Nigeria Customs Service received its new Customs Area Controller (CAC), Compt. Paul K Bamisaiye in a brief handover ceremony at the Command's headquarters, Ibafon Apapa on Tuesday 16th, April 2024.

This came after the Management of Nigeria Customs Service made minor leadership changes in some Area Commands.

The outgoing Controller, Comptroller Odaudu A Salefu thanked the troops and officers of the Command for their cooperation throughout his tenure as CAC and assigned them the duty of providing the next CAC with an even greater level of support.

He added that while his tenure at Western Marine Command draws to a close, he prayed that God Almighty will continue to lead the next generation of leaders because change in both life and leadership is ongoing and inevitable.

As he assumed control of Western Marine Command, Bamisaiye thanked the outgoing CAC for his skillful leadership at the Command and wished him well on his next endeavor. He also thanked the Comptroller General and his management team for their confidence in him and pledged to carry out his duties with diligence and effectiveness.

With extensive operational experience gained from working in several Customs formations within the Nigeria Customs Service Administration, Comptroller Bamisaiye brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.

Prior to being appointed to his current position as Comptroller and being promoted to that rank, he worked as a Provost marshal in the Customs Police Unit at NCS headquarters in Abuja and as the Scanner Manager at PTML Area Command.
