Maritime scholar congratulates President-elect
... Tasks him to surprise Nigerians with good performance
The Rector, Crown Maritime Academy (CMA), Dr. Musa Adesina Godsend Akinyemi, has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and charged him to surprise Nigerians across the six geo-political zones and Nigerians in diaspora with excellent performance.
In his congratulatory message, Dr. Akinyemi recalled the pro-democracy struggles of the former Lagos State Governor against the late Gen. Sani Abacha's dictatorship when he too was equally forced to go on exile for five years in Cote d'Ivoire.

The Rector, a First Class Bachelor's Degree holder in Transport and Logistics Management advised the President-elect to choose  his team from "outstanding, reliable and unfailing technocrats, professionals and civil society men, women and youths to deliver good governance worthy of global applause."

He also requested that Tinubu should faithfully focus on reviving the nation's maritime industry, including and especially re-floating the Nigerian National Shipping Line (NNSL) for the carriage of the country's foreign trade and training of indigenous seafarers, thereby justifying and complementing the current resuscitation of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria (MAN), Oron.

Akinyemi prayed for a new Nigeria and shower praises on the other presidential aspirants, especially Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, Mr. Peter Obi, Alhaji Musa Kwankwaso, Mr. Omoyele Sowore and Mr. Kola Abiola for their patriotic participation in the presidential election.
