Progressives Congratulate APC's New Leadership, Pledges Support for Tinubu's Reforms
The Progressives Group (TPG) has extended warm congratulations to Professor Nentawe Yilwatda on his election as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside the newly constituted National Working Committee. 

In a press statement Signed by Comrade Shola Omolola the National Secretary TPG,
 On Monday March 30th, 2026, TPG commended the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for steering the party and nation towards stability and growth.

Comrade Shola Omolola, National Secretary of TPG, noted that the APC's bold economic reforms and infrastructure development efforts are yielding positive outcomes for Nigeria's growth and sustainability. "We commend the APC-led government's efforts to drive growth and development in the country," Omolola said.

 "The economic reforms and infrastructure development initiatives are steps in the right direction, and we are beginning to see the positive impact on the nation's economy."

TPG, a group committed to promoting good governance, transparency, and accountability, pledged its support for the new APC leadership. The group urged Professor Yilwatda and his team to consolidate the gains made by the party by promoting unity, inclusiveness, and strategic coordination within party ranks. "The APC is a key player in Nigeria's development, and we are committed to working with the new leadership to strengthen the party as a vehicle for national transformation," Omolola said.

The group also called on the new leadership to ensure that the party remains committed to its core values of integrity, accountability, and transparency. "We urge the new leadership to ensure that the party is driven by a culture of accountability and transparency, and that the interests of Nigerians remain paramount," Omolola said.

TPG's statement is seen as a vote of confidence in the new APC leadership and a signal of support for President Tinubu's reforms. The group has vowed to continue to work with the government to promote good governance and accountability in Nigeria.
