The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government has passed a resounding vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, following an extensive inspection tour of ongoing and completed infrastructural projects across the council area.

Led by the APC Chairman of the council area, Hon. Saheed Kolawole Animashaun, the delegation comprising executive members, ward chairmen, councillors and an APC State Exco member, Hon. Isreal Akinode embarked on a ward-to-ward assessment of projects attributed to the Oloyede administration.

The tour commenced at the Chairman’s ward, Igbehinadun, where the team inspected the completed Phase 1 and ongoing Phase 2 rehabilitation works. From there, the inspection moved to Michael and Alade Streets, Oshodi Road, and later to Afariogun Ward, where leaders expressed satisfaction with the transformation of Liverpool Road and commended the ongoing construction on Yussuf and Aduke Thomas Streets.

Projects in all seven wards of the local government were inspected, with the Shogunle axis serving as the final stop before the team headed to the party secretariat.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Animashaun lauded Oloyede’s performance, stressing that the Chairman had “completed over sixty-four roads with several boreholes drilled and solar lights installed” since assuming office in 2021. He added that the council helmsman “governs with strict adherence to the manifesto of the party which is the welfare of the people.”

The delegation also inspected the reconstruction of St. Paul Primary School and the ongoing rebuilding of the Oshodi-Isolo Primary Health Care Centre, both described as major milestones in the administration’s education and healthcare renewal agenda.

Hon. Akinode, who joined the tour at Oluyeye Ward, urged residents to sustain their support for the Chairman “as he continues to deliver on his campaign promises for the benefit of the people.”

Other speakers praised Oloyede’s “people-centric projects,” while offering prayers for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the developmental strides in the local government were bolstered by their administrative backing and increased allocation.

The tour concluded with commendations for the near-completed Ogunlana Health Centre, now at about 80 percent completion, and the new APC party office under construction. Members of the inspection team later converged at the party secretariat, where they were hosted to a brief reception.
