NIMASA, MWUN applaud Ocean Deep Service Ltd., for supporting seafarers
The Management of the Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) have commended Ocean Deep Service Ltd., for always celebrating and rewarding seafarers in commemorating the International Seafarers Day celebration mandated by IMO
These two agencies made the commendation on T?Wednesday in Lagos, appreciating Ocean Deep Service Ltd., for celebrating and awarding her outstanding seafarers.
They described the event with gathering of eminent stakeholders as a little grand style event while accolades was given to all seafarers present and those in onboard for the special services they render to the nation as well as the world at large.
The world called the profession as seafarers, while Ocean Deep management called the seafarers 'The Heart Beat of the Nation' considering that their essential services produces about 95 per cent of the world economy globally.
The Managing Director of Ocean Deep, Mrs Rollens Macfoy (AKA Mama seafarers) was described by the crews as a very passionate, professional.
The seafarers present said Macfoy was said to be intentional about the welfare of the seafarers, wellbeing and even extend the welfare to the family of the seafarers while onboard.
According to the seafarers, Mrs Macfoy was a great mentor of inestimable value in the Nigeria maritime industry.
Certificates of good conduct onboard were awarded as well as long as long service award.
To crown it all, all other seafarers present at the event (and even those who those doesn't work with Ocean Deep Service went home with fantastic, priceless, gifts that will forever be cherished.
