Nigerian Army Chief Urges Innovative Strategies for Enhanced Battle Readiness
Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff, has emphasized the need for commanders to develop innovative strategies to boost man-management and battle readiness. This call to action was made during a seminar organized by the Army Headquarters Department of Army Transformation and Innovation for officers and soldiers of the 8 Division in Sokoto .
The seminar, themed "Optimizing Warrior Ethos in the NA: A Panacea for Operational Effectiveness," aimed to advance Lagbaja's Command Philosophy.
This philosophy focuses on transforming the Nigerian Army through effective leadership, operational readiness, and sound administration. The event also sought to instill a warrior ethos and battle spirit among personnel, addressing challenges faced by troops and adapting tactics for effective responses.
Major General Bamidele Alabi, lead guest speaker, highlighted the importance of situational awareness, joint planning, and continuous training in enhancing operational effectiveness.
