Asiwaju Tinubu Unperturbed by Coordinated  Attacks - Comrade Shola Omolola

Kathy Kyari
A member of the Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Civil Societies Group, and Deputy Director, Inter-Party Affairs, ICC, Lagos, Comrade Shola Omolola, praised the President-elect for remaining unperturbed in the face of attacks from various angles and noted that given the constant stream of criticisms, character assassination, back-stabbing, open confrontation, cyber-bullying, name-calling, and dirty politics that characterized the attacks on him.

No Nigerian, living or dead, Omolola emphasized, had ever faced such a public attack, condemnation, and maligning as Asiwaju had in his bid to run for public office.

"To our Surprise, despite all the attacks on Asiwaju he has remained cool, calm and collected.

"He was focused on the ball and only threw jabs when he was pushed to the wall and forced to speak out. And whenever he does that, it becomes the hottest topic of the day and also came new into our lexicon. From "Emilokan, Eleyi"  of Ogun State, "Folarin maa rin".

Comrade Shola also said that he would shortly articulate and analyze some of the events that occurred between the time Asiwaju Tinubu declared his candidacy for president and when he was named president-elect.

Speaking about the Director of the Directorate of Civil Societies, Hajia Naajatu Mohammed, who also happens to be a member of the Asiwaju/Kashim APC-PCC, made a noteworthy decision to switch over to the PDP, Omolola said, she has already decided, to put it gently, where she will be remembered in the history of our beloved nation, Nigeria.

Further speaking on the victory of the Labour Party Presidential candidate in Lagos, he claimed: "the win by Peter Obi in Lagos in the Presidential Election raised the Obidients hope that they can also win the Governorship Election  in Lagos but they were with No Strategy to do so, just the euphoria of the Feb, 25th Election, but then it was a wake up call for APC and its Leadership, All the Progressives and Yorubas across board. And of course Lagosians will not Sacrifice Competence, Character and Capacity for Sentiments and an accident of history Leader who wanted to ride on the so called "Obidient Revolution".

Omolola also congratulated Governor Babajide Sanwoolu for his tenacity and sense of direction.
According to him, Sanwo-Olu fought a good fight and got a well-deserved Victory.

"I want to thank Lagosians for standing tall and doing the needful when it mattered most and securing the Future of our children".

He also emphasized the need for the APC-led government and its leadership in Lagos to avoid falling complacent once more.

"They must take the mantle of Leadership and do what is right henceforth. APC in Lagos has a Poor Remuneration Plans and Strategy for its Members and admirers and they must change that Strategy henceforth," he advised.

He continued by saying that the party should make it mandatory to reward those who collaborated with it to win this bitterly fought victory.

In his words: "It was a serious battle and we thank God for Victory at last. There is a saying that the Harder the Battle, the Sweeter the Victory. We look forward to a better Lagos Under the Sanwoolu-Hamzat Second-term administration.

"Lagos State will Flourish now more than ever before. For the First time in the history of Nigeria, Lagos will be in the Same Party with a President of Lagos Origin and extraction, and this will Naturally translate to a Better, Safer and Prosperous State, Comrade Omolola noted
